Play is the work of the child. Play to improve fine motor skills through weaving and sewing. Create patterns, coordinate colors and skip count using silk, ribbons, rope, or even tall grass, the possibilities are endless. Rhythmic repetitions improve hand-eye coordination while stimulating both brain hemispheres to coordinate and execute the process.
Our creative team consists of a Child Development Specialist, a Naturalist and a Master Carpenter. We hold each creation to the highest standard of quality and intentionality.
Each weaving board is made from pine and created in our Tinkershop at the New Jersey Shore.
We meticulously and lovingly hand sand each board to produce the baby soft, buttery smooth finish our customers melt over.
It is our highest priority to keep our products as clean, natural and ecofriendly as possible. Each weaving board is finished with earth friendly Danish oil to preserve the integrity of the wood. This food grade oil is 100% free of synthetic compounds, VOCs, heavy metals, toxins and made of renewable ingredients that do not harm humans, pets or the planet.
